01 — Doctor

I take on teeth that have already been marked for extraction.

Chief dentist at Houston dental clinic. Root canal retreatment, perforations, separated instruments, cysts and granulomas at the root. I work under a microscope: without magnification some canals simply can’t be seen.

Dental photography for dentists

A photo before, during and after treatment is a medical record, a portfolio case and teaching material. I teach how to shoot so that one frame works for all three.

  • 3 framesminimum for every treatment: before, in progress, after
  • Cleanno saliva, blood or debris, especially mid-treatment
  • Protocolthe angles, distances and settings we use at Houston
  • 100 mmCanon EF 100 mm f/2.8L Macro — the lens I work with myself
